Boats news
handedly even if quite a few electric winches are
needed to help reduce effort in handling the large
sail plan (the standard version has 166 square me-
tres of canvas).
A boat like this must be equipped with a set of qua-
lity sails, so when you calculate how much you are
going to spend, you need to budget for a set of
branded sails, or at least a good code 0. Avoid thin-
king about a furling mainsail; it would be a real sha-
me. At most, you might consider an in-boom furler.
Another nice surprise is the garage which allows
you to store a 2.40 metre tender and enjoy sailing
without needing to tow it behind.
There are two interior layouts available: three cabins
and three heads or three cabins and two heads, and
you may replace the forward sail store with an ex-
tra crew cabin. Thanks to the stern being as wide
as the centre of the boat, the aft cabins are
very large and almost as comfortable as
the owner's stateroom. Below deck the
central table has been replaced by a
transverse table between two small
couches and on the starboard side
there is a large C-shaped couch
with a small low table on which to
rest a glass or cup.
