Accommodations
The style of the Nauta Design architects is clearly
visible in the original and well-finished deckhou-
se, and reaches its maximum below deck. Ele-
gant, sober, with perfectly designed lines that
accompany our gaze without ever disturbing it,
the interiors of the Grand Soleil 42 impress us
with tidiness and simplicity.
There are two available layouts, either three ca
-
bins and two heads or two cabins and two he-
ads. The difference between the two layouts
consists only in the aft space used for the port
cabin.In the two-cabin version, instead of the
third cabin we find a space that is used partly for
a big locker and partly for a mini workshop, or a
large pantry.
The main feature of the GS LC42 below deck is
her extraordinary brightness. And that bright
-
ness is enhanced by the use of light wood for the
furniture. The arrangement of volumes is tradi-
tional and complies with the requirements of a
boat designed for fast and long sailing. As soon
as you descend, you will find the L-shaped galley
