Bavaria 50
cruiser
L
ike all models built by the German shipyard
in those years, the Bavaria 50 Cruiser was
designed by the Slovenian firm J&J. It was
2001, and at that time a 50-footer was still
the flagship of leading builders' fleets, and
unanimously considered a very big boat.
This yacht remained on the market for eight years
with outstanding success. Hundreds of units
were sold to both private individuals and charter
companies.
For the latter, this was the ultimate boat. This large
and comfortable model had 5 cabins and 3 heads,
and her price was all in all affordable. As a matter of
fact, even today it is hard to find a charter company
without a Bavaria 50 Cruiser in their fleet.
Main features
In addition to being large and spacious according
to the standards of that time, the Bavaria 50 Cruiser
has other benefits too.The first of them is a very
moderate draft, just 185 centimetres, which allows
you to enter almost any harbour. The straightening
torque counts on a ballast that covers 33% of the
total weight: it is powerful, but not too much so.
