Accommodations
Thanks to the increase in hull width just above
the waterline, below deck the Dufour 390 is re-
markably voluminous, and well cared for as is
customary for this shipyard. The joinery and fini-
shes are top quality for the standards of a series
production yard.
There are three available layouts. One of them is a
two cabin/two head configuration. This version is
quite original because the bed in the aft cabin is
placed on the transverse axis of the boat, and the
head is equipped with a large separate shower
box, and this is why in this configuration the aft
cabin is to be considered the owner's stateroom,
while the forward one is the guest cabin. Both the
other available layouts consist of three cabins
and two heads, but one of them as an L-shaped
galley, while in the other one the galley is in-line
along the port side.
None of the heads in the three-cabin versions
accommodate a separate shower box, but all of
them are spacious enough to allow us to wash
comfortably.
As soon as you go below deck of the Dufour 390,
you will certainly notice the number of cabinets.
On top, a view of the dinette of the
Dufour 390. In the centre, the galley and
here above, the dinette table equipped
with two folding wings that connect the
two couches when they are raised
