Here too we find a large two-door wardrobe, a low
cabinet and two shelves for objects at the top.
The furniture is made of wood. Luca Venica of Eu-
rosail Yacht, the Dufour dealer who hosted us at
Marina Punta Faro in Lignano for the boat tests,
explained to us that Dufour is the last series pro-
duction shipyard to still use real wood below deck.
Conclusion
Our impression is definitely good. This boat is
very intriguing from all points of view. By testing
a boat equipped with a more sophisticated set of
sails than the standard one, and especially wi
-
thout the self-tacking jib and furling mainsail,
we had the opportunity to experience the true
potential of this model and find out how fun and
pleasant to sail she can be.Our advice is to forgo
the furling mainsail and self-tacking jib, unless
you absolutely need them, and choose the over
-
lapping genoa and a fully battened mainsail with
lazy bag and lazy jack. Thanks to the low boom, it
will not be hard or tiring to pick up the mainsail at
the end of your sailing trip and store it in its bag.
And if you want to avoid unnecessary fatigue,
choose a motorized winch so you can hoist the
mainsail effortlessly. Finally, if you really want to
go the extra mile, ask your dealer for a Code 0, a
light wind sail that will allow you to sail even with
the mildest breezes. Have a nice sail.
