The current Contest range
The Contest range of bluewater cruisers inclu-
des 9 sailing yacht models of different lengths,
from the small Contest 42CS (13 metres) to the
flagship Contest 85CS (26 metres). In the names of
all models we find the initials CS (Central Saloon)
next to their size. All creations are semi-custom
and, with special attention to the biggest models,
result from a very close collaboration between the
shipyard, the owners and the skippers who often
represent their needs. These boats are designed
and built for all-roud sailing, with a family or small
crew.
The shipyard also produces only one motoryacht
model, the Contest 52MC, available in Fastlane,
Flybridge, Open Sport, Classic and T-Top versions.
The 52 MC is a sober looking boat that vaguely
recalls the lines of the "Lobster boats" of Maine, in
North America.

century. In the centre, a Contest 33 built
from 1970 to 1975 in 188 units. Here be-

stylized tulip, a symbol of Holland itself
and a detail that indicates how people at
Contest are proud to be Dutch
