Helmsman's seat
The side seat is very deep and comfortable, and
makes it easier to descend into the cockpit for those
arriving from the bow
Single rudder blade
All Dufours are equipped a single rudder blade,
because the hull is narrow at the bottom and only
widens above the waterline. While the rudders whe-
els are always two
Trailer track
In the higher priced versions of this model, the boat is
equipped with a long track and mainsail trailer.
High freeboards
The freeboards of this boat are very high, while
the deckhouse is remarkably low. The inner height
is the same as in other models, but the boat looks
sportier
Low gooseneck
The boom, which is much lower than on competing
models, makes working on the mainsail easier
Chine
The elbow that determines a variation in the angle of
raise of the hull is located a few dozens of centime-

Dolphin striker
The dolphin striker that was an optional not so long
ago, has now become a fixed component of the
boat and is very useful.
Chain locker
The chain locker is very large and has good slope,
but it is not very deep
Windows
The boat has many windows, and all of them are
peculiar. At first we find the window on the forward
cabin located at the end of the coachroof, and
finally the large transversal window in the centre of
the coachroof
Cowling
The boat is fully cowled. Lines run under the cow-
ling as soon as they get down the mast, and come
out at the end of the coachroof
Platform
Thanks to a new opening system, the platform is
deeper
Aft galley
The aft galley is very well equipped. Here we find
a grill with a removable plate for easy cleaning, a
sink and a large hob.
