o create our network in English,
we gathered a team of people,
journalists, sales reps, SEOs, pro-
ofreaders and translators from
different cultures, who share a
great love of the sea and sail boating,
a vast sailing experience and a good
knowledge of the English language.
As at present there are no English
journalists in our team, you might no-
tice some language imperfections,
especially in our videos, but rather than
an English network, SVN wants to be a
global network that speaks to everyo-
ne. This is why we chose to work with
people who have good English skills,
but are not English, so what they say
can be understood by anyone, which
is not always easy with native English
speakers.
In the future we hope to be joined
by journalists from English speaking
countries as well as from other parts of
the world.
Andreas Müller has been sailing se-
veral tens of thousands of miles in the
Mediterranean and the ocean. He is
the first German-speaking journalist
of Solovelanet

from Imperia. Amoretti, an expert
yachtsman of the Italian Naval Lea-
gue, performs educational activities
and writes for the Italian and the
English version of SVN Solovelanet
