T
he Elba 45 is one of the most significant results
of a major upgrade which the Fountain Pajot
shipyard is going through. This beautiful and elegant
boat establishes the shipyard among the Pantheon
of high-quality yards.
What struck us most in this boat was her flybridge
concept. This is a proper saloon that accommodates
10 people comfortably, which means that everyone,
including the skipper, can stay on the flybridge while
the boat is underway. There is a large sundeck at the
front of the flybridge, and a large fitted couch at the
back. The gorgeous cockpit, with particularly well-
finished upholstery, and the dinette are connected
by the largest opening in this category of boats so
that the two spaces almost look like one.
Regarding the interior organisation, it is possible to
choose a 3 cabin / 3 head layout with
the owner's stateroom taking the whole left hull, or a
4 cabin / 4 head layout, which is an excellent layout
for a quality charter.
