100 SVN Solovelanet Global Above this space, it is possible to fit a removable bimini top that provides a large shaded area when the boat is at anchor. The side decks are wide and comfortable to walk on. The low shrouds land near the deckhouse and the high shrouds on the hull, so the walkway towards the stern is unobstructed. The cockpit is quite large and divided into two areas. One area is reserved for guests. This space is completely devoid of manoeuvring gear because all gear has been moved back near the wheelhouses so as to enable, on one hand, the helmsman to handle the sails on his own, and on the other hand, guests to enjoy sailing without being disturbed by the crew. The cockpit benches have been lengthened and extend up to the steering pedestals. The final part is a small locker, suitable for storing the lines coming from the arrays of cam cleats. The choice to leng - then the benches and sacrifice the working space between the steering wheel and the bench was made considering that, in any case, the tailer would have to put one knee on the bench to work at that point and remain standing on one foot, in an unsta - ble and uncomfortable position. For this reason it was preferred to eliminate that space and use it to make the seat more comfortable. In that point on the bench, a storage space has been made for lines coming from the cam cleats. As previously mentioned the sport version, the one we tested, does not include the aft seats for the helmsman. On top, the test of the bathing platform during our trial. In the photo you can also see the liferaft stored in the appropriate space, from where it can be easily tossed overboard. Here above, the carbon dolphin striker In the photo, a GS LC42 in the roll-bar version. Note that this model is not fitted with elongated cockpit benches
