15 SVN Solovelanet Global An appeal to yachtsmen around the world S VN Solovela Gobal Sailing Network wants to be the first global sailing digital media. All media that deal with sailing are focused on one cultu- re, one country and/or one type of yachtsmen: offshore sailors, racers or cruisers. Although being located in the Mediterranean, we at SVN strive to publish news and topics suitable for meeting the interest of all yachtsmen in the world. However, we cannot be everywhere or know about everyone's needs, and that's why we are making an appeal to you. If you know about something interesting for the sailing public, that has hap - pened in your area of influence, you are welcome to write us about that, and we will publish it. You are invited to help us build a large community of yachtsmen around the world, a community which crosses physical and linguistic boundaries, a community that sees its only horizon in the vastness of the sea and the means that we need to sail it, that is, boats. You don't have to be a great sailor to par - ticipate in our community: we want to be in touch with everyone including those who are not sailing aces, but fans of this wonderful sport called sailing. We would like to know how you plan your cruise from Sydney to the closest island, or how much a marina in Honolulu costs. Is a permit required to get under the Bro - oklyn Bridge? What is the best time to visit Paxos? Whe- re is Gargano? Where to find the best rental boats in the Balearics? Wherever you are, whatever language you speak, feel free to help us, write to us, and we will build a great sailing group together. Appeal write us at - svn@svn-network.net
