Aft pushpit
Easy to launch.Hanging outboard, it needs a dedica-
ted mount that allows for a free release using gravity
instead of physical strength. This release should not
be a single opening downwards. It must instead re-
lease the liferaft completely, so that by combining a
hydrostatic hook it can float towards the surface. To
avoid the risk of accidental loss, always consider the
weight of the liferaft itself in relation to the pushpit
structure and boat size.
Once technical features and sturdiness have been ta
-
ken into account, this is one of the best solutions for
family or small crew cruising boats. In fact, through
the use of small lanyards it is even possible to acti-
vate the release from the water, in case we are over-
board for any reason and unable to get back into the
boat, or if the boat is upside down.

Aft
Typical placement for sport boats and offshore/oce-
an racers, where the liferaft is stowed aft on deck. It
may also be a good alternative for cruising models if
we install a cage on the transom, whether a bathing
platform is fitted or not.
In this case too, the liferaft is placed beyond the li
-
felines, offering natural ease of launch and excellent
safety in case of automatic release.
