he Excess 11, the latest addition to the new
Excess range, was exhibited at the Genoa Boat
Show, the only autumn boat show that was not can-
celled. So far, Excess has produced three models,
the Excess 15, the Excess 12 and the Excess 11.
Two more models are going to be launched shortly
to complete the range, the Excess 13 and the
Excess 14.
Five models, spaced one metre from each other,
aimed at promoting the concept of a sport cruising
catamaran, a comfortable and well-finished boat
that is also capable of good sailing performance.
SVN Solovelanet has already booked to test two
of these catamarans. Those tests should have ta

ken place last March, but due to Covid they have
been postponed until the pandemic shows signs
of retreat.
The features of these multihulls are explained by
Rodrigo Valverde, the shipyard's sales manager
