dbmarine introduced the new Mojito 650
project designed by David Raison, who
is a Mini fan besides being a designer.
Raison took the main features of the Mini
650 and adapted them on a fast cruising
boat.
Thanks to the round bow, which has now
become a classic of many mini 650s, the boat
will have much living space to accommodate 4
people on a comfortable cruise.
Thanks to the removable bowsprit and retracta
-
ble keel, the boat can be carried on a tilting truck
without the need for an escort.
With the retractable keel the draft ranges from 190
to 80 cm. The displacement is 1,200 kilos, while the
sail area for downwind sailing is 85 square meters.
The hull is made with innovative and environment-
friendly materials: linen mats, recycled plastic, cork
and polyester. At the end of her life, the boat will be
more than 80% recyclable.
The layout is designed to accommodate 4 people,
2 in the large forward cabin with a bed 1.40 mt wide
and 2 on single aft berths.
